Heritage Scientist. PhD in Chemistry (UFRJ), in the area of Materials Chemistry/Solid State Chemistry, Master’s in Chemistry, Physical Chemistry area (PUC-Rio) and Bachelor’s in Chemistry (UFF). Postdoctoral researcher in the project ‘Development and characterisation of hydrogels based on yellow passion fruit pectin for the conservation and restoration of cultural assets’ at the Macromolecules and Interfaces Research Group (GPMIn) at the Federal University of Paraná. Founder and Educator at ChimicArte, a company specialising in Chemistry applied to art, conservation and restoration. Currently studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in Museology at the Leonardo da Vinci University Centre. Cultural agent, focusing on science applied to cultural heritage. Associate Chemist at ARCO.It – Association of Restorers and Conservators of Cultural Heritage. Member of the Study and Research Group on Cultural Heritage (GEPPC). In 2012, she received the Marie Curie Award for Scientific Production for her work Chemistry and Art: an articulation shown through conceptual maps.
Member of the team of the Research Project Scientific Dissemination of Science Museums and Educational Practices for Sustainable Development, linked to the Federal University of Paraná. Coordinated the project ‘Chemistry in the Museum’ at the Museum of the History of Medicine of Paraná, which resulted in an ebook. Lecturer of several courses and lectures on Chemistry applied to the Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art in various museums, such as the Oscar Niemeyer Museum, Paulista Museum, Museum of the History of Medicine of Paraná, Alfredo Andersen Museum, Paranaense Museum, Memorial Paranista, Heritage School (Curitiba), and others. She was a supporter of the exhibition ‘Maria Falce (de Macedo), pioneer and protagonist, at the Museum of the History of Medicine of Paraná.’
